IMGCOPY3 is the Imagecopy 3 demo by Jeremy Hughes and FaST Club (dated
June 28, 1994). Imagecopy is an EXCELLENT picture viewer/copier/
converter/printer and more. It will work in any ST/TT/Falcon video mode
(graphics cards, too). It will work as a slide show, color or mono
screen dumps and image printer with a wide range of printers (9-pin,
24-pin, Bubblejet, Deskjet (mono and 500C, 550C, and Laserjet), catalog
images (60 or more per page), create halftone images to use with other
programs (great for DTP work), convert images between different formats
or to different color types (e.g. true-color to 256-color). Imagecopy 3
supports an extensive range of image formats. It can read and write:
DEGAS, GIF, IFF, IMG, JFIF (JPEG), PC Paintbrush (PCX), Prism Paint, RSC
free image, Targa, TIFF, True Paint, and Windows Bitmap. Other read-only
formats include: Art Director, Calamus Raster Graphic, DR Doodle,
Macpaint, Neochrome, OS/2 Bitmap, Pictor, Pixart, Portable Bitmap,
Spectrum, and Tiny. IFF support includes standard IFF, Amiga HAM, PC
Deluxe Paint, and ST Deluxe Paint. IMG support includes Hyperpaint IMG,
Flair Paint IMG, Ventura Publisher IMG, and XIMG. It does far more,
too. This is an excellent program, and is completely functional except
that it prints some text over each image viewed onscreen, and dots as
well on printouts. A small limitation on checking out the whole
program! Check this one out! Docs included (you must read them if you
only operate with the standard ST res. or your pictures will look
crummy!). Fully Geneva compatible.
